Paranormal Investigations Research and Experimentation or P.I.R.E. for short is a small non profit (that means that we do NOT charge for our Investigative services EVER!!!) , self started Paranormal Investigational Research team who has interests in Discovering, Investigating, Exploring and Experimenting with the Paranormal and with/at "HAUNTED" places and residences.

The way P.I.R.E. is funded for our upgrades and new equipment is through unsolicited donations and through SELF FUNDING. All money that P.I.R.E. receives through those two means is directly put into our equipment and fuel for our vehicles to bring us to an investigation site and nothing else. We do not get paid for our investigations and we NEVER ask for any form of a payment for an investigation.

P.I.R.E. is located on the South Shore (South Of Boston) Massachusetts. Our small team stems from various different backgrounds, ideologies, and personal as well as religious beliefs. Each team member also brings their own knowledge and interests in certain areas as well as their personal experiences to P.I.R.E. We feel that gives us the ability to look at everything we may or may not encounter from many different aspects before forming our final analysis. However, we do not go into a location and base our findings on feelings alone. Experiences only count for so much by themselves and we rely on actual captured evidence that we can show and share with the property owner as documented evidence. Our team does not use or rely on psychics or mediums. Nor do we condemn any team or group that does.

P.I.R.E. decided to dedicate more time and effort Discovering, Investigating, Exploring, and Experimenting with Paranormal Activity and "Haunted" places beyond that of a simple "hobby". So in June 2006 our team officially named itself P.I.R.E.

n August 2006 we posted a Myspace page to share our findings (which we do as blog entries with the place we visited, the legend/lore behind the place, our findings as well as photographs of the place, any evidence we may find, and our Final Analysis of our experiences at the place visited) and to find and connect with people who share our interest in Paranormal Activity as well as our interest in "Hauntings" and "Haunted" places.

P.I.R.E. was founded by Michael Papile and Dana Wilson, Our team has always shared an interest in Paranormal Activity as well as "Haunted" places. We took on Kelly O'Connell as an additional investigator in April of 2007.

In January 2007 P.I.R.E. set up our website. We also set up a separate online blog to archive and share our investigations and findings. Feel free to check it out.

We are also interested in Networking with other Paranormal Research and investigational people and groups. As a way to share information and to share our experiences. P.I.R.E.'s objective is to help ease the minds of people who may be experiencing Paranormal or "haunting" activity. We approach all of our investigations from a STRICT SCIENTIFIC standpoint.

Our method of proving or disproving the legends or lore behind a suspected Paranormal or "haunted" place is through STRICT SCIENTIFIC research and experiments. We use scientific equipment such as a Sony Digital8 Camcorder, digital voice recorders, infrared thermometers, emf meters, and digital cameras in an attempt to capture potential paranormal evidence. ". Any evidence that we may capture on audio, video, or in photographic instances will be CAREFULLY SCRUTINIZED to determine what we may or may not have found and it will be followed up with a post investigation visit to explore every possibility. We will try to find other alternative explanations first before concluding that a person or a place is being "haunted". After our investigation is finished and we have documented our findings we will share our findings and copies of any evidence we may find with the person or owner who requested our services.

P.I.R.E. also prides itself on our GUARENTEE to be absolutely discreet before, during and after any investigation or request for an investigation. In the case we are asked to investigate a PRIVATE residence we do so in STRICT CONFIDENTIALITY. We WILL NOT disclose the location, evidence, our findings or anything else about the case to anyone unless we are given permission to do so.

We show up to EVERY investigation dressed professionally. We do not come dressed all in black or dressed out of the ordinary in any way that would separate us from a clients friends or relatives visiting from "out of town". When we are called to an investigation we make sure no one knows who we are but, the client.

We are very professional and we do not cause any damage nor do we take anything from ANY site other than video and photographic evidence. We leave nothing behind at a site except for our footprints. When doing any investigation the safety and well being of our entire team is held in the utmost of importance.

When P.I.R.E. does any investigation we do it in the strictest PROFESSIONALISM possible. When doing an "OUTDOOR" investigation we do not just "trespass". We will ALWAYS attempt to get permission before doing ANY investigation.

We are always trying to stay on top of new methods of investigation as well as new tools and equipment to use during our investigation. We will NEVER go into a location using a new technique or piece of equipment without informing the property owner/owners ahead of time that we will be using something experimental.
